From day one with my first baby, the Solly Baby wrap has been one of the favorite and most used tools to take care of my baby. I love keeping my babies close enough to kiss, and this soft beautiful wrap is the best for that! It’s soft and stretchy and super easy to use. I can hardly believe how tiny Izze looks in this photo on our first outing as a family after her birth. She slept right through it all comfy cozy next to mama in the wrap.
I’ve been wanting to start sharing my baby favorites with you all, and today I’m so excited to say I’ve teamed up with Solly Baby to giveaway a wrap to one of you!
You can enter by visiting the Solly Baby shop and leaving a comment here on my blog with your favorite color wrap! You can also enter on Instagram (see this photo for details). Winner will be drawn and announced next Monday, good luck!
Babies in bonnets goes on my top ten list of cutest things ever a baby could wear, it just melts me! When I found out we were having a girl I was pretty excited to get to dress her up and buy her cute things I’d been dreaming of. Briar Handmade makes the most gorgeous modern bonnets and were one of my very first purchases for Isabelle. I can’t wait to get get that pom-pom bonnet on her head… but I suppose I don’t want to wish winter upon us that soon.
I’ve been having her wear this one non-stop because the fabric is so soft and it covers her sweet newborn head from all the sun we’ve been having. Their new brimmed bonnets would be perfect to keep the sun out of their eyes as well. I think I have a bonnet addiction and may form quite the collection at this point. Good news is they’re really well made and are totally the type of quality item with classic style that can be passed down from child to child, which we love.
There’s just some things I knew I would want for baby #2, and our favorite baby shoes, Freshly Picked Moccasins were one of them. I raved at the start of my love story with them here. Well since then Freshly Picked has launched their crib moccasins, a size zero shoe meant to fit from newborn size to 3-5 months. Perfect for a brand new babe! I’m so excited to get these on her little feet once she’s here. They’re so petite and tiny! Really gave me a reality check again that we’re having another little baby. I can’t believe it some days.
I’ve partnered with Freshly Picked to give away a pair of their moccasins to one of my lucky readers in the color and size of their choosing! See the rafflecopter below for all the many ways you can enter! Good luck everyone!
Giveaway is open from Monday, March 9th to Friday, March 13th at 11:59pm MST. Open to US and Canadian Residents. All entries will be verified. Winner cannot have won a giveaway including Freshly Picked Moccasins within the last 60 days. Winner will be announced and contacted directly on March 14th, and have 24 hours to claim their prize.
When I first started looking for wooden teething toys for Eli I was so pleased to find Little Sapling Toys. Not only are they well designed and totally in line with the aesthetic I love, but they are also eco-friendly, planting a tree for every toy purchased!
But here’s what I REALLY love: they have a teether in the shape of Alaska! We are nothing if not full of Alaska pride over here, so it was a must have. And we love it, and Eli loves it! Chewing on South East Alaska is his favorite. (Maybe he’s chomping at the bit to go there?! *worst pun ever somebody stop me!)
The Little Sapling Toys instagram feed has been featuring their state teethers in the #littlesaplingstates hashtag and it’s so fun to follow! *Here are some of the examples:
Fun fact: Eli was going to be born in Idaho, but we ditched out to Alaska at 36 weeks. How cute is the Idaho teether? I may need one for him all the same
So do you have state pride baby fever yet? Well today is your lucky day because I have teamed up with Little Sapling Toys to giveaway a state teether of your choice to one of you lucky readers! Just make sure you follow my blog on bloglovin, visit Little Sapling Toys, and comment below letting me know what state teether you would choose!

As a graphic designer I’m pretty picky when it comes to design, print, and color, in most aspects of my life, including baby goods for Eli. You can image my delight when I found Jill’s shop, Wren & Rumor. Wren & Rumor offers modern fabric designs for little ones in beautiful blankets, burp cloths, and bedding. I’m totally smitten with pretty much everything she puts in her shop! I mean look:

I’ve never had so much fun decorating a room before! There were a lot of little DIY projects for his room, and I’m so happy with the way it came together. I wanted to do something really fun and bright for Eli’s little space and I think it really worked out.
I made a mountain potato stamp for this pillow cover I sowed, and I think I’m addicted to potato stamping now!
My favorite project of all is this snow cloud mobile I made. Absolutely love it! And so does Eli, he can’t stop staring at it sometimes.
Painted the bottom of our bookshelf to give it an extra bit of color!
Now for the really fun part! Are you wondering about my awesome wall triangles? Well they are decals from Urban Walls, and are super easy to put on. We have three fun ways to enter!

I got my prints from Postal Pix last week and I’m so excited about them! I’m kind of shocked that I haven’t had any iPhone pics printed before now, but I may have become addicted. Being able to order straight from your phone is the easiest thing ever. The colors are really vivid and accurate and the prints are good quality and finish, and most importantly to me not flimsy and weak. I’ve been having fun looking at different projects to do with the prints online. So far I’ve just hung some up with some washi tape, which I’m a big fan of. But I’m looking for the perfect project. Any suggestions of things you’ve done and loved?! Do share. Theres a bunch of ideas to sift through here, so I’ll have to share if/when I try some out.
**Update** After raving about the wonder that is Postal Pix, I’m teaming up with them to offer a giveaway on Instagram! Enter to win a $20 print credit by following my feed and theirs then liking the contest photo on my instagram feed. Super easy!
Postal pix is also offering 20% off your order for my readers with the discount code: hills20
Contest and discount code end Saturday Feb. 16th at 11:59 PST. Good luck!
