It was painfully cold this weekend. Like -20 cold, and ironically back in Alaska it's in the 40's. What is going on January! Anyways, we mostly stayed indoors except for picking up our bountiful basket
(and loving those carrots), shoveling the driveway, church, and going for a blustery walk. Indoors was where the brownies were at anyways, so naturally that's where I needed to be. Hope your weekend was great, and most importantly warm!

  1. Lovely! And those carrots...divine. Here in New England it has been in the upper 40s so it looks more like that muddy period in April than mid-January. There's nothing like nursing a post-holiday slump while surrounded by sparse clumps of brown snow. :) I'm living vicariously through your beautiful photos.

  6. It looks like a lot of snow! We had a bit here over the holidays and I had some time to go sledding and snowboarding ... the snows seems to be gone, but frigid temperatures today in Toronto ... -21C! I hope you got to enjoy the weather, even though you had to shovel :)
